Pixar Fest Food and Merchandise
Thank you to our friends at Disney for providing media passes for our review. Hi friends! I’m sure if you’re a Disney fan like I am that you’ve heard of #PixarFest going on at Disneyland and California Adventure right now! As soon sneak peeks of the Pixar Fest Food and Merchandise were shared I knew I was going to have to make my way out there ASAP to get the low down. I mean, Disney Food is one of my main food groups! In case you didn’t know, we love Disney dining so much that we started a new Instagram dedicated to the magical treats and eats called @MyDisneyEats! Be sure you head over and give us a follow!
In preparation for our Pixar Food Adventure we whipped up an amazing Pixar Fest Food Checklist (download and print or save to your phone!) to keep track of all of the goodies you can find throughout Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Now while we’re sharing our favorite Pixar Fest Food finds with you today, there is PLENTY more to try! Pixar Fest begins at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure April 13, and will run through September 3.
Pixar Fest Food in Disneyland Park
We’re starting our Pixar Fest Food adventure off in Disneyland Park!
“UP” Chocolate-Hazelnut Pastry from Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, Disneyland Park, Main Street, U.S.A. | This Chocolate-Hazelnut Pastry with the “UP” house and balloons is a cute treat to start with! You can also find the Badge Eclair at Jolly Holiday for a fun treat as well. The crust was a tasty and not-too-sweet shortbread with a “Nutella-like” filling. YUM!
Specialty Churros from Churro Carts in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park | You guys, you could make a whole day out of trying all the new churros at Disneyland right now! The Strawberry Churro (pictured), Lemon Churros, Carrot Cake Churros and Cocoa Churros – OH MY! You can’t go wrong with any one of these sweet treats. Be sure to stop by the churro carts and share with friends!
Grape Soda Slush from the Coffee Cart, Main Street, U.S.A, Disneyland Park | You guys! I felt like a little kid drinking this delicious frozen treat! I’m a big grape soda fan so naturally I was happy with this sweet little slushy. Perfect for a warm and sunny Anaheim day!
Cheeseburger Pizza Slice from Alien Pizza Planet, Disneyland Park, Tomorrowland | Ketchup, Yellow Mustard and Pizza Sauce on a Sesame-Seed crust with American and Cheddar Cheeses, Caramelized Onions, Diced Tomatoes and a Slider Patty, finished with a House-made Burger Sauce and Pickles. Ok y’all, I have to be honest this was one of my FAVORITE things on the list! I was so surprised with all of the amazing flavors in this one slice of pizza and they all went together so well! A stop at Alien Pizza Planet is a MUST and be sure you at least get one bit of this slice!
Alien Macaron from Alien Pizza Planet, Disneyland Park, Tomorrowland | If you’re making your way through Alien Pizza Planet don’t forget to grab the treats at check out! I loved this Alien Macaron, it’s not only adorable but so very tasty!
Alien Blackberry-Lime Parfait from Alien Pizza Planet, Disneyland Park, Tomorrowland | Now if you’re choosing between the macaron and the parfait I would choose the macaron BUT this little parfait is much better for sharing! So if you have a group and you all want to grab a sweet spoonful of cake and frosting, this little guy is the go-to!
Strawberry and Sour Apple Slushes from Slice Alien Pizza Planet, Disneyland Park, Tomorrowland | These slushes are just too fun! The machine is close to the entrance and is so cute and you’ll have fun filling your cup with whatever magical mix of Strawberry and Sour Apple slush your heart desires!
“Toy Story” Root Beer Float from The Golden Horseshoe, Disneyland Park, Frontierland | Now going in to Pixar Fest this is the one souvenir I KNEW I had to come home with! I mean, HOW CUTE is Woody’s boot?! And again, a nice cool treat on a warm Disney day is the stuff of dreams. We got to The Golden Horseshoe to get in line right at opening and had no trouble snagging these cute cups. You can also get it filled with your favorite soda (no ice cream) at the Stage Door Café next door.
“Toy Story” Berry Funnel Cake Stage Door Café, Disneyland Park, Frontierland | House-made Funnel Cake topped with Blueberries, Strawberries, Chocolate Cookie Crumbles, Crème Anglaise, White Chocolate, gold-dusted Whipped Cream. One can never go wrong with Funnel Cake! And this one is so fun and festive, it’s a must-do! Also it’s perfect for sharing. Grab your group, a plastic knife and forks and take a load off in the seating area nearby for this sweet treat.
Pixar Fest Food in Disney California Adventure Park
Now we’ll head across the way for more Pixar Fest Food finds!
Pixar Fest Treats: Pixar Cake Pop and Grape Soda Cake Pop from Trolley Treats, Disney California Adventure Park, Buena Vista Street | There are SO MANY sweet treats available at all four candy shops across Disneyland – Pooh Corner and Candy Palace at Disneyland park, Trolley Treats at Disney California Adventure park, and Marceline’s Confectionery at Downtown Disney District! Stop by and grab one or two to try and be sure to take some home to friends and family! Read more: Pixar Candy! A Sweet-Lover’s Guide To Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort
Funnel Cake Fries from Award Wieners, Disney California Adventure Park, Hollywood Land | Funnel cake fries tossed in Cinnamon Sugar and finished with Whipped Cream, Sweetened Condensed Milk and Fruit Cereal. ALERT! This is another one of my favorites from our Pixar Fest Food adventure! They’re adorable, not too sweet and super easy to share so grab a plate full and share with family and friends!
Mint Chip Shake from Schmoozies, Disney California Adventure Park, Hollywood Land | Mint Chip Shake with the colors of Sulley. Another one of my favorites! Also perfect for a warm Disney day, you’re going to want to go ahead and wait in line (because you’ll likely have to) for this sweet treat, it’s worth the wait! Oh and snag that little Pixar Ball straw, it’s adorable!
Mike Wazowski Whoopie Pie from Schmoozies, Disney California Adventure Park, Hollywood Land | Mike Wazowski whoopie pie filled with Birthday Cake Ice Cream. Now this one is messy (eat quickly!) but Mike’s cute green face is a hard one to pass up. If you’ve waited in line for the shake go ahead and grab this adorable Pixar themed whoopie pie!
Habanero Meatball Cone from Cozy Cone Motel, Disney California Adventure Park, Cars Land | Turkey Meatballs in a Habanero Derby Sauce with Cheese Crisp and Spiral Pasta Smoke Stacks. I know, you’re thinking it’s about time for something savory! It’s also something we noted that all of the “cute” Pixar Fest Foods are pretty much sweets. But there ARE plenty of savory sit down meals, we’ll chat about that a little later on in Pixar Fest Dining Packages. I’m always a fan of food in a cone, but be aware this one is a bit on the spicy side!
Pixar Lemon-Raspberry Cake from Pacific Wharf Café, Disney California Adventure Park, Pacific Wharf | With layers of Lemon, Blue Vanilla, and Red Velvet Sponge Cakes with Raspberry Purée and Cream Cheese Frosting topped with a Chocolate Pixar Ball half-dome – this cake steals the show! There’s probably nothing that got as many looks and questions as this guy did as I was walking through the park trying to capture the perfect picture (but of course). You can find it at the Wharf, at Plaza Inn or Paradise Garden Grill. It’s a must-have!
Mike Wazowski Shaped Bread, Disney California Adventure Park, Pacific Wharf | I was a big fan of Groot Bread so I knew I had to have this guy as well! Mike Wazowski shaped bread, so adorable! He’s also the perfect treat to take home to friends and family, enjoy him with a warm bowl of homemade soup!

So cute! This caught my eye because my daughter used to work for William Joyce. He was the one who created the characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear for Pixar. Emily used to talk to people from Pixar frequently on the phone, and they sent her a whole box of trinkets from the film. So my grandson has one of the original Woody characters. He loved them all.
