Disneyland Halloween

Hi friends! Halloween Time at Disneyland is upon us and I couldn’t be happier! Don’t you just LOVE the holidays at Disney?! I mean, they do an amazing job during events like Share Your Ears and Pixar Fest to bring all the excitement that the holidays bring to a non-holiday time of year, but once I saw pictures of the Great Mickey Pumpkin and Oogie Boogie going up, I knew that it was ON! I was in Disneyland earlier this week for the Disney Social Media Celebration Conference (#DisneySMC) and tried some of the NEW Halloween Time Food and Drinks, and I thought I would share some of my updated favorite Disneyland Halloween Treats with you!

Best Disneyland Halloween Treats

Disney treats are my expertise. Follow me over at @mydisneyeats and you’ll realize that in a heartbeat. It really is a labor of foodie love because there’s nothing like a trip down Main Street to put a smile on this gal’s face. Now make those HALLOWEEN treats and I’m just giddy. So of course we tried a TON of Disney Halloween Time food and drinks, but here are some of my favorites:

Mickey Pumpkin Cookie from Candy Palace

You guys, this guy is a SHOW STOPPER! I mean, it just doesn’t get any cuter than this cookie and it’s tasty too! He’s a perfect little treat and at just $3.99 he doesn’t break the bank either. It’s kid friendly, easy to share and he comes PACKAGED so he’s easy to take home as a treat or gift too! WIN WIN.

Spider Web Mickey Crispy Treat from Candy Palace

You guys, isn’t this the cutest?! I went in for the Minnie Witch crispy treat, but there was just something about the simplicity and colors of this one that ENTICED me! It’s so cute and Mickey Crispy Treats are ALWAYS a win in my book. Check out our Homemade Mickey Crispy Treats how-to!

Jack Skellington Cookie from Candy Palace

If you have someone who is a Jack Skellington fan in your life (or if it’s you) than this $3.99 cookie is for YOU! Another cute and simple, well-done Disney sugar cookie, he also comes packaged and can be easily taken on the go.

Cauldron Cake Pop from Candy Palace

Double, double toil and trouble, fire burn and caldron bubble! I had no intention of getting a cake pop going in, but this one was just too cute to pass up! Most cake pops are decent on the taste scale but I don’t always want to spend a lot on a little treat like this. The cuteness of this one was worth it though, don’t you think?!

Mickey Mummy Macaron from Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe

There’s nothing quite like a macaron from Jolly Holiday! I love them all, but this Mickey Mummy is particularly cute AND the Oreo cookie filling isn’t a bad feature either. Definitely stop by and grab this one!

Mickey Bat Cookie from Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe

Now this little guy wasn’t originally on my list but as I was placing my order in Jolly Holiday I just couldn’t resist! He’s classically cute and tasty too! Perfect for sharing with the kiddos.

Cruella de Vil Brownie from Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe

Cruella de Vil, Cruella de Vil, if she doesn’t scare you, no evil thing will! Ok, now this treat is devilishly good! It’s a brownie in a spotted cup with black dark chocolate and white chocolate mousse with a Cruella de Vil logo. Brownie lovers, this is a must-try. Grab a couple spoons, also great for sharing.

Vampire Alien Macaron from Alien Pizza Planet

I’m a BIG macaron fan and the Alien Pizza Planet Alien Macarons are ALWAYS on my list. But the vampire theme? I just HAD to have him. So cute!

Chocolate Coffee Yule Log from Plaza Inn

Ain’t she a beauty! I loved the Holiday Yule Log I had at the Festival of Holidays so I knew this was a MUST! Stop by the Plaza Inn and grab a slice, it’s so cute and tasty!

Orange Sugar Skull Pot de Crème from Rancho del Zocalo

You guys, Rancho del Zocalo got it right! Maybe it’s because I’m a southwestern gal with a love for spice but this pot de crème is so delicious! Grab a couple spoons and you can surely share this sweet treat after a plate of nachos or a tasty taco salad. Don’t forget to try the cinnamon crisps too!

Now we’re talking! I feel like the Golden Horseshoe always gets the star attractions and this Churro Sundae is no exception. Cookie Dough Ice Cream topped with Cookie Butter Sauce is garnished with a Cinnamon Sugar dusted Churro, Cajeta and Whipped Cream for probably the most delicious sundae I’ve ever had! A MUST TRY.

Disneyland Halloween Food

Ok yes, there’s more to life than Disneyland Treats. I tend to focus on the sweet side of things but there is much more to try at Disneyland during Halloween Time like hot dogs, mac and cheese cones, bread bowls and more. Here was one of my favorites:

Mickey Fang Bread from Pacific Wharf Café

I there anything cuter than this Vampire Mickey Mouse Sourdough Bread?! Tasty too! This is a perfect Halloween Time Food to take home with you to enjoy.

Disneyland Halloween Cocktails

There are also drinks for those who are so inclined! Oh, and I’m inclined to have an adult beverage now and again at Disney (see: What to Drink at Epcot Food and Wine). This was one of my favorites:

Supernatural Spirit from Hollywood Lounge

To infinity and beyond! This is what the Buzz Wing Wall is for, right?! If you’re in the area give the Supernatural Spirit, a new Halloween Time menu item at the Hollywood Lounge! Made with cotton candy vodka and cotton candy lemonade, this cocktail is sure to get you in the Oogie Boogie mood!

RETIRED TREATS FROM PREVIOUS YEARS:

Bat Wing Raspberry Sundae from Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream

The Instagram sensation from last year is back! We stopped by Clarabelle’s in California Adventure for this spooky sweet treat. White chocolate-raspberry swirl ice cream with raspberry splatter, blood-red sprinkles, whipped cream and a bat wing cookie, you’re going to need a team to finish this treat but it’s just so much fun! Want to make one at home? Check out this copycat version!

Cookies and Cream and Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake Fries from Award Wieners

One of my most favorite treats from Pixar Fest was the Cereal Funnel Cake Fries from Award Wieners so I was SO looking forward to these Halloween Time Treats! Honestly, I liked the cookies and cream version a little better so if you have to choose, choose those. But the pumpkin spice were a close second. These treats are perfect to share AND easy to eat on the go.

Spider Parfait from Alien Pizza Planet

Ooooooh, it’s a Spider Parfait! Now I love everything that Alien Pizza Planet has to offer, so I always have to stop by. For Halloween Time they have this festive parfait with chocolate cake, vanilla and chocolate puddings and a thick layer of ganache topped with a sweet-and-sour gummy spider! This one is great for the kids to share after a slice of pizza.
